It’s only 5 days til North Texas Giving Day, the largest community-wide giving event in the nation.

In 2017, $39 million was raised through more than 137,000 gifts benefiting 2,723 local nonprofits (206 of them are #DentonCountyNonProfits), bringing the nine-year total to $195 million for our North Texas communities.

Isn’t this a great graphic???

September 20, 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the event.  Who benefits?

Mario with Counselors

Well, that was the moment Camp Summit rocked my world. Not only did they say he could stay at camp, but they worked with us to find a grant to cover his camp fees and transportation costs to fly him home at the end of his session! Who does that?? Well, Camp Summit did and that was such a big help for all of us. Our son Mario had never flown, and they made that experience possible for him.

We all benefit!  Each time we improve another life, mankind benefits.  Of course, Denton County is involved!
