I’ve been, at best, an intermittent blogger for the past ten years or so. I enjoy it. I love the social interaction it creates. And isn’t it amazing how we can get to know each other, even become friends, through the written word!!!

But now I’m seriously considering retiring (from my job, not from blogging) which is so very odd. How can I be old enough to retire?? Didn’t I just graduate from high school a few days ago? No. Fifty years ago. I can’t even read that sentence with my head spinning at the thought!!
Anyway, I’ve set reminders for the days I want to post. I have to develop new habits. And get rid of a few old ones! I probably don’t have to tell you that it’s sometimes daunting to cast your thoughts out into the universe. You never know what the tide is going to bring in. I’m good with that. After all these years, I’m finally ok with the woman in the mirror. I wish I’d been kinder to her when she was younger. She deserved much better than I gave her.
But my much belabored point to all this is to let you know how much I appreciate the support found in our ‘community’. I appreciate each view, visit, like and comment. It’s like a gift out of nowhere that just drops into my lap! I haven’t served you a cup of tea, no slice of cake. But you drop by from time to time, just to see if I’ve written anything worth reading! And that gives me motivation to keep writing, keep posting. Keep meeting others. Networking with run on sentences and dangling participles.
Thank you especially to Laci who takes time to visit frequently. And to Cynthia Weirr. Their blogs are so evolved, so informational! I’ve got lots of catching up to do! I know they’re busy, so it’s very special to ‘see’ them.
So, happy posting, friends. I hope you find inspiration today that motivates you. I hope I do too! And ya’ll come back soon!
So, tell me what you think!
